Razorpay and UPI payments that add up
Payments verified on the server and recorded once, from checkout to refunds. I've built them for an exam site that sells tests by UPI and an NGO that takes fees and donations.
- Engagement
- Payments in a new build, or added to yours
- Timeline
- 2 to 8 weeks inside your project
- Price
- From ₹1.5 lakh, plus hosting and maintenance
- Ownership
- Your Razorpay account, your data, your code
What you get
Six things, every time
01Checkout that works on phones
Razorpay checkout and UPI, so people pay the way they already do.
02Verified on the server
Every payment and webhook is checked against Razorpay's signature before anything changes.
03Recorded once
Each payment is looked up by its ID before it's saved, so a retried webhook or a double tap can't count twice.
04A payment only moves forward
A paid payment can be refunded and nothing else; a failed one can be tried again. Tests keep it that way.
05Unlocked after confirmation
What people paid for, like a test, opens only once the payment is confirmed.
06Receipts and records
Donation receipts, and an activity log of every admin action, for when someone asks.

Questions
What clients ask first
How do you price work, and when do I pay?
Fixed scope, fixed price, quoted in writing after our first call. Projects start from ₹1.5 lakh, plus hosting and maintenance. There's no hourly meter, so you never pay for me to read documentation.
Payment follows milestones: usually 30% to start, the rest split across agreed milestones, and the last payment on handover. Hosting and care is a flat monthly fee.
Who owns the code and the infrastructure?
You do, all of it. The repo lives in your organisation from day one, and servers, domains and third-party accounts are registered in your name.
Full IP transfer on final payment is written into the agreement.
What happens after launch?
Every project includes 30 days of support. If something I built breaks in that window, I fix it at no cost.
After that you can keep me on the monthly hosting and care plan, bring me back for specific work, or hand it to your own team with the runbook. Both of my client platforms are still live, and I still look after them.
Will you sign an NDA or a contract?
Yes, before you share anything sensitive. Send me yours, or I'll supply a mutual NDA and a contract covering scope, milestones, payment, IP transfer and confidentiality.
